• Each and every one of our waterproofing and sealing systems exceed Standard requirements and are covered by an iron-clad guarantee.
• Each system is fully compliant with the current waterproofing code.
• We have one of the first CSIRO and BRANZ appraised wet area membranes.
• We also supply and install quality guaranteed underfloor heating systems.

How did we begin?

• Began in 1984 in Coffs Harbour, New South Wales, when three of our current Directors, recognised an urgent need in the home construction industry for a waterproofing system that could be relied on.
• They had been working with fibreglass for some time and developed a system of waterproofing using fibreglass that has stood the test of time for over 25 years.
• After several successful years the Directors began appointing sub-contractors and in 1994 expanded the business by taking on a further Director which then lead to further expansion and they began appointing licensees.
• All licensees became franchisees when the company changed over to a franchising system in 2001.
• With an annual turnover of well in the multi millions, the group has continued to expand.
• Now boasts the largest waterproofing franchise in Australia and New Zealand.
• Have well advanced plans to enter additional overseas markets.

Our Team

• Purpose built Corporate Office & Manufacturing Facilities of Wet-seal completed in April of 2009.
• Corporate Office still located in Coffs Harbour and currently houses 16 members of the support team.
• Also operate a Technical Office in Melbourne and a Marketing Office in Queensland.
• Directors Mike Ellis, Kevin Tighe, John Rathbone and Jim Child are all actively involved in the running of the business, bringing with them in excess of 80 of personal experience in waterproofing.
• The Corporate Office has separate departments dedicated to Sales & Marketing, Training, Technical, Information Technology, Administration, Occupational Health & Safety and Quality Assurance, all of whom are involved in the franchisee training program.
• Dedicated IT department and tailor-made software tracking all work, product batches and administration.  This sophisticated system allows for the smooth handling of over 3000 invoices per month.

• Whilst our fibreglass based internal system has stood the test of time, we are always mindful of the need to develop new, more environmentally friendly products.
• In the last 25 years Wet-seal has tested hundreds of membranes but we concluded that only a product developed and manufactured by our Company would give superior performance to the membranes we were currently using.
• Not only have we developed this new range of products, we have commenced manufacturing them in-house.
• Continue to be instrumental in Wet-seal maintaining our position as the benchmark of waterproofing.
• Have been ranked 4 times in the top 50 in the BRW Fastest Franchises, a great achievement!
• Quality assured systems, clear guidelines and upholding the Wet-seal brand is essential to our businesses growth and success.  It allows us to keep everything within the radar so that we can pinpoint any potential issues. All jobs, since 1985 have been logged into the system and the database serves as a useful tool for repeat business which represents 70% of overall business for our company.
