Wet-seal Bayside South Appears on Channel 9’s Hit TV Series – The Block

Wet-seal were delighted to be involved in Channel Nine’s popular renovation series The Block, when Paul Rohan (Bayside South Franchisee) was asked to completely waterproof a bathroom.  Paul and his applicator Mark Prendergast did a brilliant job of showcasing Wet-seal’s products and services across 3 episodes of The Block.  Thanks to Paul & Mark’s efforts, Wet-seal appeared in Episode 2 which aired on 31st July, Episode 3 which aired on 1st August and in Episode 4 which aired on 2nd August.

Paul and Mark completed the waterproofing of all wet areas (bathrooms, ensuites, powder rooms and laundries) in 3 of the 5 houses on The Block and did a very professional job.  Paul said he was approached by Clinton & Hannah’s Builder (House 2) to complete the waterproofing and then was asked by Ronnie and Georgia (House 3) and then Sticks and Wombat (House 4) to do the waterproofing, which he readily accepted as he realised the exposure it would give his Franchise and Wet-seal.  He said he spent time on and off site for 3-4 days on the set of The Block.  Paul said the credit for the waterproofing being perfect all goes to his gun applicator Mark and says Mark always does an outstanding job of the application of Wet-seal’s products.

Paul said he and Mark were stoked one day on set when, as they walked past Keith Schleiger (The Block’s Foreman and Blockinator), he high fived both Paul and Mark and said best waterproofing ever – that sure is some great credit to be given – well done Paul and Mark!
